Cut & Paste

It's relatively simple to cust and paste if you follow a few basic instructions.

1) With the left mouse button, place the cursor where you want to start to copy. Click and hold the left mouse button as you move the cursor to the spot at the end of your selection. Then release the left mouse button. The highlighted, or black, portion will be the area which will be copied.

2) Press the control key, labled "Ctrl" and hold it down. Then press the Insert key, "Ins", while the first key is still pressed. Release both keys. You have successfully copied the highlighted selection into the computer's memory.

3) Open what ever application you wish to copy the text into. For an email, open your email program.

4) When you're ready to enter text, place the mouse cursor in the apporpriate location, click the left mouse button one time to put the blinking cursor at the proper spot.

5) Similar to step 2, press the Shift key, then press the Insert "Ins" key for just a second. You should now see the text you copied with step 1.
